the tulip bubble/last post

Hello whelp this is my last post hope you like it. The year was 1630 tulips were arriving in Amsterdam there were an instant hit among the rich.

They were the new craze of the time the price jumping from 100 to 500o franks and even the poor were buying tulips they could not afford the rare alexander the great tulips but could afford the new color tulips which were still rare but less expensive. But in the summer of 1637 the bubble popped people were only buying tulips to sell but when rare French paintings arrived no one wanted to buy tulips so people who spent there life savings on tulips the onceĀ  very rich became homeless.
